Ubisoft has officially revealed that the Skull and Bones open beta will kick off on February 7th at 9 pm EST and conclude on February 11th at 6 pm EST. Preloading for the beta will be available starting February 6th at 4 am EST. This exciting opportunity extends to users on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC. PC enthusiasts can access the beta through Ubisoft Connect or the Epic Games Store. Notably, progress made during the beta will seamlessly transfer to the full game, offering participants exclusive rewards, including two ship cosmetics, an emote, a pet, and a weapon.
During the open beta, players can engage in a variety of activities, including Main Campaign Contracts, Bounty Contracts, Side Contracts, World Events, and more. The exploration spans multiple locations, including the Red Isle, the coast of Africa, open seas, and the East Indies, encountering diverse factions. Additionally, fans who tune in to watch their favorite Twitch streamers play the open beta for an hour will receive the coveted Snow Leopard pet Twitch drop.
While the beta will have a level cap, players can continue playing and enjoying the game even after reaching this limit. Activities such as hunting for loot, earning silver, and completing various tasks remain accessible beyond the Brigand (Tier 6 Rank 1) level cap. The open beta also introduces ship customization, a feature that has resonated well with the player community.
